An Infant school in Dartford looking for an outstanding Year 2 Teacher for September 2024. The school achieved remarkable results last year in their Phonics Screening Test with children reaching "Good Level of Develompent" in the Early Years Foundation Stage. These results significantly exceeded both Ken and National averages.

The Role: Are you passionate Reception Teacher wanting to making a difference in the lives of young children? Do you have the energy, creativity, and dedication to inspire our little explorers? If so, we have the perfect role for you! We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Reception Teacher to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in creating an engaging and stimulating learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Planning and Delivery: Design and implement a rich, varied, and imaginative curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
  • Learning Environment: Create a vibrant, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
  • Observation and Assessment: Regularly observe and assess children's development, using this information to inform planning and ensure each child reaches their full potential.
  • Parental Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and involving them in their learning journey.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to the development of the nursery, and ensure a consistent approach across all settings.
  • Professional Development: Commit to ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest EYFS research and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent early years qualification.
  • Experience: Proven experience working within the EYFS framework, with a strong understanding of child development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
