We are currently recruiting a Payroll Specialist to join the London team of 3 for a global investment firm that has grown substantially year on year!
The role involves running the monthly payroll for the UK and EMEA regions which covers 400 people across 11 Payrolls. They are looking for someone who has in-house knowledge and understands how to do the differing calculations from Maternity pay, SSP, etc. Ideally, the successful person will have experience using Workday, but other internal payroll systems would still be very attractive. One of the largest projects you will be involved with initially will be to bring the payroll function in-house rather than using the external payroll vendor.
WHO YOU ARE
To be successful, you will have solid experience in a similar Payroll role, be an efficient problem solver and be able to deal with multiple requests at any given time.
Essential requirements:
- Solid work experience running the UK Payroll
- Strong understanding of manual calculations (SSP, Mat Pay)
- Experience of Workday to similar payroll systems.
- Solid Problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a fluid work environment
- Must have experience managing an in-house payroll without leaning on external providers'
