Salary: £26,670 per annum plus benefits
Hours: Full time, 39 hours per week
St Paul's Cathedral is looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Property team as a 'Property Maintenance Operative'. Traditionally this may have been known as a laborers role, but it is more than this, in its diversity of tasks and inclusion of every aspect of life at the Cathedral.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Property team with:
- labouring tasks
- assisting with lifting and moving heavy objects or equipment
- the maintenance and repair of equipment
The successful applicant will have:
- the ability to lift and move heavy objects, work at heights and climb staircases and the 500+ steps to the galleries
- good interpersonal skills
- excellent team working skills
- adaptability
The successful applicant will also be expected to share in St Paul's Cathedral's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
