Interim Accountant

A Global Infrastructure Asset Manager require an ACCA / ACA for 4-6 months to assist during a busy period of Interim Statutory reporting and supporting a systems migration.

  • You will need to be available on no more than 2 weeks notice and be able to do 4 days in the office**

The successful candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified with circa 2 years PQE in Financial Services with experience of both Statutory Accounts & Management Accounts prep.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation/review of statutory holding company accounts under FRS 102, including underlying workings and support
  • Preparation of management accounts for entities in the group, for dividend payments
  • Posting/management of general ledger data for holding companies
  • Balance sheet reconciliations for holding companies
  • Interaction with external auditors and the wider business, as required, to support timely preparation and audit of annual holding company accounts
  • Liaising with finance managers, and where appropriate third-party service providers, such as confirmation around project distributions
  • Providing support for the preparation of quarterly reporting packs for the Board of Directors
  • Preparation and ownership of weekly payment runs
  • Preparation of weekly cashflow forecasts and investment proposals of excess funds
  • Manage drawdowns and repayments of the fund's revolving debt facility including compliance requirements
  • Manage intercompany loan interest payments throughout the group
  • Analysis of intercompany loan schedules in group and ensuring documentation completeness
  • Maintain loan schedules to ensure principal and interest amounts are kept accurate and up to date
  • Support the ongoing change program as required, e.g. general ledger migration
