£140 - £190 per day (Depending on Experience)
Are you a dedicated and qualified Food Technology/Design Technology teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students? Our dynamic secondary school in Stockport is seeking a passionate individual to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves teaching both Food Technology and Design Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Deliver high-quality and engaging Food Technology and Design Technology lessons to secondary school students, fostering creativity and practical skills.
- Planning and Preparation: Develop innovative and relevant lesson plans, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment, maintaining high expectations for student behavior and academic achievement.
- Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including equipment and materials, to support practical learning activities.
- Assessment: Implement appropriate assessment methods to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in Food Technology and/or Design Technology.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent planning and preparation abilities.
- Passion for inspiring students in the fields of Food Technology and Design Technology.
- Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
