We are now looking for a Senior Finance Officer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As our Senior Finance Officer, you will oversee the administration and reconciliation of our UK and international bank accounts.

You will reconcile all main bank accounts on a weekly basis and regional and international accounts, monthly, including posting all items on the bank statements.

Managing the accounting for all subscription payments and refunds, you will investigate membership queries and reconcile related suspense accounts, prizes, awards and scholarship payments.

Additionally, you will:

- Provide administrative support to regional and international treasurers
- Support the delivery of the monthly budget monitoring information and year end audit deliverables
- Assist with staff expense payments and other balance sheet control account reconciliations
- Support the internal and external audit process
- Keep abreast of accounting policies and procedures and relevant charity regulations

About You

To be considered as our Senior Finance Officer, you will need:

- An AAT qualification or part qualified ACCA, CIMA
- A BTEC (or equivalent) in business studies, finance or similar
- Good financial and analytical skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
