Position: Care Assistant
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Hours: Full-time, 36 to 48 hours per week / Days (8 pm to 8 am)
Hourly Rate: £11.90

As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, helping them to live with dignity and respect. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
Job Description: In this role, you will:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support residents with mobility and ensure their safety
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Engage residents in social activities and promote their emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with team members and families
- Liaise with healthcare professionals
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a care role is a plus but not essential
- A genuine passion for caring for elderly and vulnerable individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Relevant qualifications such as a care certificate, NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
