Quality Systems Manager

Our client, a non-profit organisation who pride themselves on their company values and services, have an exciting new position for an experienced, energetic and dynamic individual to join their team. This will be on a full time, permanent basis from their offices in Tewkesbury.

With experience in Quality or Compliance Management, you will maintain the Quality Management systems that support the organisation to fulfil requirements of relevant standards. Working alongside department managers you will drive a focus on quality and certification and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.

Using your experience of leading audits, you will be able to confidently and professionally lead on external audits, representing the organisation to the highest standard. It's an exciting time to join the organisation and play a part in helping them to achieve their purpose of working towards a clean and sustainable environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange, co-ordinate and lead UKAS accreditation audits, ensuring the required standards are met
  • Management of Quality procedures and systems across the organisation
  • Working alongside departmental managers and the Certification Evaluator, to ensure that rules and

T&C's are useable and meet certification standards

  • Undertake a proportion of auditing in co-ordination with relevant managers
  • Ensure effective and efficient document control
  • Create management review reports and follow up on actions for these reviews
  • Develop, manage and implement changes / updates to processes and procedures
  • Maintain an effective audit schedule against all schemes
  • Report and follow up on audit actions
  • Review compliance activities across the business that relate to Quality procedures for GDPR and

document control

-Undertake training to ensure skills and knowledge are maintained to undertake the job role

Candidate Attributes:

  • Detailed knowledge of Quality Management systems
  • Able to quickly develop a knowledge operating policies and procedures
  • Experience of quality systems and an ability to train internal and external resources
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a supportive team member
  • Ability to audit processes and make reports and recommendations

Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week
