We are seeking two Neighbourhood Response Officers to join our team on an ongoing temporary basis. The successful candidates will ensure that neighbourhoods in North London are desirable places to live by conducting estate inspections, addressing anti-social behaviour (ASB), and collaborating with various teams and external partners. Experience with estate inspections and ASB is essential, and court attendance is beneficial but not required.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Develop and deliver neighbourhood plans and local offers.
  • Conduct regular estate inspections, prioritising fire safety risk assessment follow-up work.
  • Engage with local resident groups to develop community facilities, activities, and events.
  • Collaborate with local partners on neighbourhood safety and ASB issues.
  • Liaise with other departments on neighbourhood improvements and services.
  • Visit customers in breach of their tenancy or lease agreement.
  • Support vulnerable customers and assess their need for ongoing tenancy sustainment.
  • Conduct property viewings, sign-ups, and tenancy assignments.
  • Represent the client in court and provide witness statements as required.
  • Conduct evictions and attend stay hearings.
  • Perform property condition checks for mutual exchanges, tenant notice periods, or planned visits.
  • Assist with major incidents and the decanting of tenants.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Essential experience with estate inspections and addressing ASB.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, external agencies, and residents.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic DBS check.
  • Court attendance experience is beneficial but not essential.
