Description
As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the finance department, finance manager, and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks.
- Completing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements.
- Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies.
- Managing day-to-day transactions.
- Posting and processing journal entries.
- Updating and maintaining accounting databases and software programs.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
