In this Senior Social Media Specialist role, you will be overseeing the companies social media presence, developing and executing strategies to promote the brand, engaging with new and existing audiences and helping them achieve their social media marketing goals. This role would be perfect for someone who is warm and friendly who has experience in content creation, post management, strategy delivery, influencer management and analytics.
The Senior Social Media Specialist role is a full time, permanent position working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. This role involves hybrid working and is currently 1 day a week in the office and 4 days from home. The company are based just outside of High Wycombe.
The salary on offer for the role is £35,000-£37,000 per year with a fantastic yearly bonus on top! They also have an incredible pension scheme of up to 8% from the company, a paid days volunteering, salary sacrifice schemes and private healthcare and dental after probation.
What will I be doing in the Senior Social Media Specialist role?
- Creating the yearly social media strategy and outlining goals and tactics for achieving the goals.
- Leading the organic BAU activity and implementing all strategy by creating, coordinating and scheduling all activity across various social media channels.
- Working with influencers to increase the companies reach in desired audiences.
- Implement and develop paid social media strategies and monitor the analytics of these.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of all social media and sharing the recommendations to colleagues.
- Working with the external media agency.
- Keep up to date with all of the latest social media trends.
- Managing all social media posts
- Creating all social media content including banners, graphics and video tools using Adobe CC.
- Writing fantastic copy that is tailored to the audience.
- Working with content producers to source photography and graphics.
- Manage and deliver on a calendar of LinkedIn Lives.
- Writing a monthly LinkedIn newsletter.
- Monitoring the accounts and any customer comments or concerns.
- Support in promoting company events and developing a social media plan for any events.
- Responding to any company followers and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Enhancing the visibility and influence of the brand online.
- Working with a social media budget and having the autonomy to manage and spend the budget to achieve objectives.
What skills and experience are needed in the Senior Social Media Specialist role?
- 5 or more years' experience of working in a social media specific role.
- Strategy creation experience.
- Experience in using analytical tools
- Experience of working on digital projects
- Experience of managing social media across multiple platforms
- Experience of creating data-led reports
- Experience of creating and managing paid ads across multiple social media channels
