Agricultural Sales Manager

Our client, a long established, leading British designer & manufacturer of processing equipment for the arable agricultural sector, is seeking a Sales Manager to cover a sales territory encompassing the south of the UK.

Reporting into the Sales Director, key duties include:--

New business development throughout the south of the UK, selling equipment, spare parts and service contracts.

Account management of dealers and existing farming clients, using technical understanding of the systems to provide best advice to customers.

Whether new clients or existing, consulting with farmers to understand their unique requirements and/or challenges and offering them a suitable technical solution. Experience of the grain processing sector would be ideal.

As Sales Manager you will be expected to attend the company's offices perhaps once per month so whilst this is predominantly a home/field-based role, you should ideally live within a comfortable commute of the company's head-office in Wiltshire.

To apply for this Sales Manager role, you should have a demonstrable sales track record selling technical solutions/products into the agricultural sector, encompassing both dealers and direct to farmers. You should be used to managing a lengthy, complex sales cycle, ideally dealing with order values in the range £50,000-£250,000. You will be highly self-motivated with a positive attitude and high levels of personal hunger & desire.

On offer for this Sales Manager role is a very competitive package including a basic salary of £50,000 basic plus bonus scheme and company car.
