Our client is actively looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As the Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making for the business.

The responsibilities:

  • Analyse financial data and create models for decision support.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, including variance analysis.
  • Maintain and update financial databases and systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial records.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and insights.
  • Track and analyse operational costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support strategic planning and long-term financial planning efforts.

The candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Part or fully qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA would be an added bonus.
  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar financial analysis role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software, Oracle Fusion or similar would be a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
