Based in South Hertfordshire our global forward thinking client is looking for an Financial Planning and ESG Analyst to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This exciting job would be suitable for someone with an accounting/business background and studying towards a professional accountancy qualification ACCA or CIMA. This role will also be based in the office 5 days a week.

The successful individual will have a good understanding of analysis and reporting of management information and experience of ESG regulations and reporting disclosures is not essential but would be an advantage.
They must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and comfortable in liaising with all levels internally and externally.
Good Excel skills is required for this role, and ability to pick up new systems.
Job responsibilities:
- Reporting weekly sales and other management data, as well as updating period projections and rolling forecasts.
- Supporting and providing recommendations for collecting and analysing data metrics for ESG reporting.
- Gaining familiarity with the functionality and structure of the AS400 financial planning module and the Global OneStream reporting system.
- Preparing periodic and quarterly P&L budget reports, variance analyses, and various KPIs.
- Playing a key role in coordinating and managing the 3-period update process, annual budgets, and assisting with updates to the 5-year business plan from start to finish.
- Forecasting and reviewing daily cash flow needs, along with periodic updates to cash flow and balance sheet projections.
- Overseeing the tracking and verification of bank transactions, card charges, interest receipts, and accruals.
- Participating in managing and reviewing foreign currency needs, including preparing Mark-to-Market valuations at period end.
- Assisting with various other tasks as needed.
