Position: Locum Commercial Property Lawyer
Organisation: London based Local Authority
Duration: 3 months +
Working Pattern: Full Time
Working Arrangement: 1 day per fortnight office attendance
Hourly Rate: £50-55 umbrella per hour
Venn Group's specialist public sector legal team have teamed up with a prominent Local Authority based in Greater London to assist in their search to recruit a Commercial Property Lawyer on a locum basis
This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer who is looking to work in local government and become involved with all aspects of the commercial property department and develop their legal acumen. The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx with 4+ years PQE
Duties Shall Include:
- Commercial Property Management: Oversee all aspects of commercial property matters related to asset portfolio management. Manage and advise on the development, sale, lease, and other transactions involving public sector land holdings
- Local Authority Land Dealings: Provide expert advice on all aspects of local authority land transactions. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and governance standards
- Client Advisory: Offer strategic and practical advice to clients on property matters. Develop effective solutions to complex property issues, ensuring client needs are met efficiently
The role of Commercial Property Lawyer comes with an hourly rate between £50 and £55 umbrella and will give the right candidate a great opportunity to tackle some exciting property work. Local Government experience is preferable but candidates with limited Local Government experience are still thoroughly encouraged to apply
