Finance Assistant

My client is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the financial operations and ensuring the processes run smoothly, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Efficiently process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely management.
- Accurately allocate cash transactions to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile supplier statements and maintain precise supplier records.
- Collaborate with managers across the business to monitor internal expenditures.
- Assist in the processing of weekly and monthly payroll, providing support to ensure staff are paid correctly and on time.
- Monitor customer payments, engage in credit control activities, and build effective relationships to ensure timely collections.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Finance Department, contributing to the smooth operation of the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards work.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in a finance role. (1-2 years' experience)
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
