Client Details

Our clients national banking and finance team advises clients on a wide range of financing transactions across multiple sectors, many with a multi-jurisdictional element, representing borrowers, lenders, and investors.

Description

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice to a wide range of banking clients.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate banking documents and agreements.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring all work is completed accurately and to deadline.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the legal department and wider firm.
  • Stay up-to-date with legal developments in the banking sector.
  • Contribute to business development activities, such as networking events and client seminars.
  • Maintain high standards of professional conduct and adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements.

Profile

A successful 'Banking Solicitor' should have:

  • 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in general banking
  • Experience working closely with borrowers, lenders, and/or investors throughout the transaction life cycle
  • Ideally experience to include; including leveraged finance, real estate finance, corporate lending, and asset-based lending.
  • A proactive mindset and genuine enthusiasm for the work are crucial.
