Description
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to a wide range of banking clients.
- Draft, review, and negotiate banking documents and agreements.
- Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring all work is completed accurately and to deadline.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the legal department and wider firm.
- Stay up-to-date with legal developments in the banking sector.
- Contribute to business development activities, such as networking events and client seminars.
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct and adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements.
Profile
A successful 'Banking Solicitor' should have:
- 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in general banking
- Experience working closely with borrowers, lenders, and/or investors throughout the transaction life cycle
- Ideally experience to include; including leveraged finance, real estate finance, corporate lending, and asset-based lending.
- A proactive mindset and genuine enthusiasm for the work are crucial.
