**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team as a Facilities Assistant in Desborough, Northamptonshire. This is a temporary position with ongoing opportunities, and we are looking for an individual who is proficient in various maintenance tasks and general facilities duties.
**Responsibilities:**
- **Shelving and Brackets:** Installation of shelves and brackets as needed.- **Drain Maintenance:** Unblocking drains to ensure proper functionality.
- **Milk Delivery:** Responsible for the timely and secure delivery of milk.
- **Flooring:** Laying floor blocks to maintain or enhance facility flooring.
- **Lighting:** Changing light tubes and ensuring proper illumination throughout the premises.
- **Manual Handling:** Moving boxes, desks, and furniture from one destination to another.
- **Painting:** Perform painting tasks as required for maintenance and aesthetic purposes.
**Requirements:**
- **Handyman Skills:** Proven experience in general maintenance and handyman duties.
- **Manual Dexterity:** Ability to use tools and equipment for various tasks.
- **Problem-Solving:** Capable of identifying and addressing facility-related issues.
- **Physical Fitness:** Must be able to lift and move heavy objects.
- **Reliability:** Punctual and dependable for routine and ad-hoc tasks.
