An experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer is needed to join our team at D-TACQ Solutions, a leading manufacturer of data acquisition appliances based in South Lanarkshire, on a full-time basis.
We're looking for an experienced software engineer to maintain, enhance, and expand the range. The successful applicant will be capable of working unsupervised while contributing to the team's success.
A core part of the work is developing and testing new bespoke configurations, preparing Factory Acceptance Tests and following up with Customer Support.

D-TACQ Solutions manufactures a range of data acquisition appliances used in instrumentation on Big Physics experiments, as well as sonar, seismic and OEM applications worldwide. The range features high-end electronics, FPGA integration and embedded Linux for control.
Required Skills:
- Linux, Embedded software lifecycle management, git source control
- Any experience in ARM hardware, System On Chip (ideally ZYNQ), DSP and interfacing to FPGA useful
- Full stack embedded software C/C++, shell-scripting, TCL
- Developing interfaces and test harnesses in Python, Java, C++, and/or C#, Labview
- Ability to trace into a large body of running software and to make and document effective changes
- Proven enthusiasm for collaborating on large-scale open-source projects
