My NHS client is looking to recruit a Head of Category to join the team and focus on Professional Services. Reporting into the Category Director, the role will be responsible for inputting into the development of the Category Strategy, working closely with the Category Director to effectively engage with senior stakeholders in relevant NHS & government bodies to understand requirements and work closely with Deliver and Enable colleagues to continually review and input to the Category Strategy.
You will lead and develop the Professional Services Category Strategy, develop category plans and take responsibility for defining the commercial strategy. You will also support the Category Director in building stakeholder relationships and ensuring that the strategy promotes procurement effectiveness, delivers value and ensures continuous improvement.
This is a senior role within a large team and requires an experienced, MCIPS qualified candidate, with significant senior management experience who can deliver and develop category strategies whilst managing and developing a team.
The role is permanent and offers flexible, home based working. The salary on offer is from £82,462.
