SCOPE
Leeds
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To plan distribution of pallets and freight to various destinations within the UK.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
OPERATIONAL
- Arranging movement of freight from origin to destination, both international and national
- Handling European Groupage Services
- Communicating with customers as to the progress of their shipments.
- Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers
ADMINISTRATION
- Using freight management system to input jobs and carry out tasks.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Working with the team to ensure that customer service is always maintained
- Communicate with all members of staff at all levels
- Excellent customer service skills
