Our client is looking for a Part Time Warehouse Assistant based near Gravesend with 16-20 hours per week available. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a warehouse and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, with high levels of organisation and communication for both team work and working on their own. They should be able to work without supervision, be detail-oriented, flexible, and have strong numeracy, literacy, and computer skills.
The duties include printing and collating customer orders, picking and packing orders for dispatch, processing returned stock, and transferring new arrivals to the storage area. The successful candidate will also be tasked with assisting with stocktaking duties, preparing dockets, and lifting items that are ready for dispatch. It is expected that the candidate takes reasonable care and their own safety and those of others and adheres to all safety and quality procedures.
