Walker Cole is searching for a Packaging Technologist to join a global pharmaceutical manufacturing business in West Yorkshire. The Packaging Technologist would work closely with NPD and Commercial functions to optimize and improve packaging technologies on the site. Key responsibilities include applying packaging guidelines at the site to ensure all product packaging meets the set standards, as well as providing technical assistance to both internal teams and external partners.
Additional Responsibilities as a Packaging Technologist:
- Oversee and guide packaging sustainability efforts.
- Work with suppliers to enhance various aspects of material use and quality.
- Review and manage packaging approvals and related changes.
- Adjust pallet designs as required.
- Supply relevant packaging information for reporting purposes.
Requirements for the Packaging Technologist Role:
- A degree in Packaging, Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications.
- Extensive experience in a related role, with knowledge of industry practices (i.e. GMP practices).
- Skilled in analysing data and offering useful recommendations.
- Familiar with applicable regulations and internal procedures.
