Reception and HR Admin

My client is looking for a receptionist and HR Administrator to join the team ASAP due to a period of sickness.

The role will initially be for 4 weeks, but could be longer.

The receptionist will be the first point of contact for anyone visiting the office and therefore will need to provide a high level of customer service at all times to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties will include:

  • Following company procedures for signing in guests

  • Monitoring the fire alarm log book

  • Managing and issuing visitor badges

  • Assisting with DBS checks for employees

  • Answer incoming reception calls

  • Distribute Post

  • Ordering stationery, ensuring stock is readily available.

  • Administration duties, including letters/minutes of meetings are required.

  • Assist with recruitment administration including pre-employment checks, such as sending references.

  • Assist with the administration and co-ordination of training programmes.

  • Manage general TMS queries, and general enquiries directed through the HR Inbox - actioned the same day.

  • Ensuring all probationary reviews for new starters are into/logged into staff files - notification of any probationary review concerns.

  • Assist HR with any ad hoc duties/ HR projects in the team, as and when required.
