Finance Operations Manager

A great opportunity for an individual with strong all-round accounts team management experience to join a successful and long-established City based financial services company. The focus of this role is team management and the responsibility for delivering the ledger close, accounts to trial balance and additional responsibilities relating to compliance - both internal and external. Duties will range from:

  • Full line management of finance team members whose functions are AP, General Ledger, Cash Management and Credit Control
  • Oversight of the monthly and year end close process
  • Direct involvement in preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Responsible for a strong internal control process and where necessary strengthening existing procedures
  • Final responsibility for the deliver of the monthly and year trial balance and all the integrity of the balance sheet
  • Main point of contact for external and internal auditors for the function
  • Involvement in projects and on an ongoing basis seeking out enhanced processes and efficiencies
