Watsham Consulting is pleased to be working with a repeat client in Gerrards Cross, leading their search for a Subcontractor Team Leader.
This is a permanent role overseeing a growing team of Accounts Payable Clerks. The Subcontractor Team Leader role is office-based and requires someone local with recent construction industry experience (and recent COINS usage would be highly beneficial!).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and support the team of dedicated Accounts Payable professionals
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices
- Perform statement reconciliations
- Deal with supplier and internal enquiries
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for all Subcontract Ledger subledgers and resolving aged debit and credit balances
- Produce weekly payment runs
- Become proficient in the use of COINS for Subcontract Ledger
- Streamline and optimise Accounts Payable processes to enhance efficiency
- Implement and maintain best practices in Accounts Payable
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- 3+ years experience working in Accounts Payable
- Construction industry experience (CIS/VAT/DRC)
- Experience working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good IT skills, proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheets (COINS experience would be highly adventageous!)
