Payroll Team Leader - Fareham

You will be working for an award-winning leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisors operating across the UK, Nordics and the USA. As a Payroll Team Leader, you will be required to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of client payrolls, undertake general administrative duties and work collaboratively within the payroll hub. You will also be responsible for effectively communicating with clients, offices, HMRC and third-party providers and to make sure they are always giving their clients the best payroll service, you will need to keep up to date with all payroll legislation and industry changes though independent research.

You will need to have previous payroll administration experience, with a minimum of one year's service being within a busy service-driven environment (preferably within a bureau environment) as well as end to end payroll processing experience including pensions, benefits and statutory payments. You will need a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in both manual and system-based work with a natural ability to coordinate, prioritise and multitask with little supervision. A strong customer focused approach is needed, along with the ability to handle customer queries by telephone and email and be able to adapt to a highly changeable environment. A strong knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation, processing, and auto enrolment regulations and the ability to manually calculate a payroll
