FP&A Accountant

We are looking for a Qualified FP&A Accountant to join our finance team. This role is perfect for a proactive individual who excels in financial planning and analysis. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing key financial insights that will help shape our strategic business decisions.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting.
- Spearhead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Provide analysis and deliver insight that links financial reports to business strategies.
- Improve financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions.
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools.
- Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
- Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience as an FP&A Accountant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Proficient user of finance software.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
