Digital Events and Marketing Coordinator

£30k-35k

What a role! A B2B Digital Events and Marketing Coordinator, you can be based anywhere in the UK (though there are quarterly social meet ups to attend to meet and bond with your peers, these are typically around the South East, sometimes the South West or occasionally in pockets of the UK if your team are based nearby).

Company culture is superb here, the organisation prioritises your well-being, mental health and advocates a positive environment to ensure you can achieve your personal and career goals.

The company work with a range of marketing, tech and digital agencies, so ideally, you'll have worked in an agency environment before - not that this means you'll be juggling a tonne of projects in a frantic hurry, more that you'll understand how agencies operate and how best to collaborate with them.

  • You'll own the events calendar, making sure all digital events - mainly webinars - run effectively and smoothly
  • Write email comms to drive audience to events
  • Help select venues for a physical event
  • Arrange tech and AV for the yearly event
  • Write event synopsis
  • Track and analyse event marketing performance
  • Source speakers

What you'll need:

  • Aside from looking at marketing/comms/PR/social type agency backgrounds, a somewhat eclectic, fast paced, quirky B2B industry background is also welcome.
  • Around 2-3 years experience in events and marketing
  • It goes without saying that you will have worked on previous digital events (mainly webinars) and be used to talking to stakeholders and event partners.
  • There is one large physical event each year too, some experience of arranging these would be great
  • Excellent writing skills, there will be a writing task as part of the interview to showcase these skills.
  • The ability to craft marketing emails to promote the events

Part of the interview process is to provide us with a short (around 2 minutes) video clip introducing yourself to the team - I know it sounds daunting, but it doesn't need to be a professionally shot and edited film! Just literally record yourself as you feel comfortable, the raw, nervous clips are always welcomed as the team appreciates it's outside of most people's comfort zone. Think of it, this way, it's quicker than writing a cover letter!

There's no need to do this at this stage if you to just get the ball rolling, we can discuss it with you as part of the interview process and give you some advice.
