Job Specification: Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices and ensuring the highest standard of service and communication is upheld, reflecting our core values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Match and process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring alignment with authorized orders.
- Utilize Navision software to process supplier invoices and credit notes, and proactively chase up pending authorizations.
- Reconcile supplier statements to ledger balances, addressing any discrepancies through direct liaison with suppliers.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic payment runs, maintaining organized financial records.
- Scan invoices and credit notes, manage employee expense claims, and contribute to other accounts payable duties as needed.
- Full training will be provided to ensure success in the role.
Requirements:
- Experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using financial software, with specific experience in Navision being advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to resolve queries effectively.
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
