Prospero Teaching is seeking individuals to work as Level 3 Teaching assistants across various schools in Sheffield, on a full-time or part-time basis.
The successful candidate will provide valuable support to teachers, help facilitate learning, and contribute to the overall well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering effective learning experiences
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour
- Help prepare learning materials and resources
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of lessons under the guidance of the class teacher
- Support students with their emotional and social development
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a school setting
- Be able to provide at least two professional references.
- Ability to work well as part of a teacher
- Have an Enhanced DBS, Overseas Police Checks (If applicable) or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS.
