Finance Assistant - Bridgend, South Wales - Manufacturing - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract- £31,000 DOE.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a world leading Manufacturing company based in their Bridgend office.

Role Responsibilities:
- Accounts receivable transaction processing including customer invoices, credit notes, cash receipts and adjustments.
- Distribution of customer financial documentation to the appropriate party including customer invoices, credit notes, statements, and other required information.
- Completes transactions in respect of daily cash deposits through completion of the daily cashbook, and cash allocation.
- Update daily cash activities and reconcile to bank records.
- Maintain SharePoint workflows to ensure timely invoice approvals.
- Assist the Controller with the compilation of weekly cash balances and monthly cash forecasts and the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, month end schedules and analysis.
- Assist with statistical analyses to help determine trends, estimates and significant changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller to support the department.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ year's experience of working in a Finance Function is preferred
- AAT or equivalent would be an advantage
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Integrated Accounting Software (Oracle/SAP experience preferred)
- Experience in both account receivable and general ledger activities
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
