Jobstore are recruiting for Recycling Operatives for an immediate start on our clients location to carry our general recycling pick line duties.
We are looking for candidates with a positive and committed work attitude who are able to carry out labour intensive duties.
Main Duties and Responsibilities to include: ·
Responsibility for picking and segregating both recyclable and non-recyclable materials within a busy recycling facility ·
Ensure quality in separation and consistency rates are maximised
Ensure compliance with statutory and company obligations and Health & Safety
Ensure daily housekeeping rules are adhered to at all times
Adhere to the principles of Manual Handling at all times
You must have; Good organisational skills · Good communication skills · Ability to work well with others · Pays attention to detail · Be prepared for heavy lifting.
Working hours are 7.00am to 17.00pm Monday to Friday - with possible overtime at the weekend. This is a temporary holiday cover position that may offer longer term work for those that want it.
Previous experience in a recycling environment beneficial although not essential.
