We're looking to appoint a Customer Service Team Leader to join a dedicated and high-performing Customer Services team.
**The Role
As Customer Service Team Leader, you will be a key point of contact for complex queries and escalations while supporting, coaching, and motivating a team of Customer Service Advisors. You'll work closely with management to ensure service levels and KPIs are consistently met, and will play a hands-on role in process improvements and staff development.
**Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level customer service and resolve customer complaints and escalations
- Lead, coach, and support a team of advisors to hit personal and team KPIs
- Conduct regular 1:1s, appraisals, and performance reviews
- Monitor workloads and maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet demand
- Act as the first point of contact for complex technical or service-related enquiries
- Ensure the team is up to date with all process and compliance changes
- Lead by example and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Report on team performance and contribute to operational improvements
**About You
- Proven experience in a team leader/supervisory role within a customer service environment
- Strong communication and people management skills
- Ability to resolve complex issues with professionalism and empathy
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Proficient in using CRM systems and reporting tools
- A natural leader who motivates and inspires their team
