Our client is seeking an experienced Programmes Manager to join their team in Derby. This role offers a unique opportunity to support the implementation of a portfolio of change and service improvement work across an All Age Continuing Healthcare Service. The successful candidate will be working collaboratively with teams across the organisation and with colleagues at all levels, as well as external stakeholders. This role requires substantial experience in planning and delivering projects and/or programmes, including expert knowledge of programme management. The salary for this position is £75,000.

What you'll do:

As a Programmes Manager, your role will be pivotal in supporting the implementation of a portfolio of change and service improvement work across our All Age Continuing Healthcare Service. You will be working closely with teams across the organisation, providing expert support to clinical and operational teams. Your responsibilities will include planning for, executing and embedding service and process changes to maximise benefits while ensuring that robust governance processes are followed. You will also lead on the delivery of key agreed initiatives, improving patient experience of care, including quality and satisfaction.

  • Support the development and benefits realisation of core programmes of work
  • Provide expert support to clinical and operational teams to progress the implementation of change and service improvement
  • Plan for, execute and embed service and process change to maximise benefits
  • Ensure robust governance processes are followed
  • Work between executive SROs for the CHC Improvement Board and the operational CHC team
  • Lead on the delivery of key agreed initiatives
  • Improve patient experience of care, including quality and satisfaction
  • Deliver joint commissioning requirements with support of the senior leadership team

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Programmes Manager role will bring substantial experience in planning and delivering projects or programmes, including expert knowledge in programme management. You should have experience in writing Board level reports and presentations, demonstrating your ability to analyse reports and complex data. Your confident communication and advisory skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with teams across the organisation as well as external stakeholders. An understanding of clinical areas and pathways will be beneficial for this role.
