Finance Manager
- Annual Salary: Up to £42,000 (pro-rata for part-time)

- Job Type: Part-time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
- Working Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to join our team on a part-time basis for a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is adept at managing financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the financial operations of the company and ensure timely and accurate financial reports and practices.
- Manage day-to-day accounting procedures including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of all financial transactions.
- Liaise with external auditors and accountants for annual audits and tax preparation.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and guidance on plans, forecasts, and budget management.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to make decisions regarding company financial strategy and operations.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure the company's financial stability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Proficient user of finance software.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Able to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
