This is a permanent position with an international business leader. About the Role:

A newly created corporate governance and company secretarial role, reporting directly into the Group General Counsel. You will act as the Company Secretary for all the c. 40 UK entities, encompassing Companies House filings, maintaining the statutory books, board meeting minuting and providing governance support in relation to corporate transactions. Further, you will support in KYC and bank account opening matters, working within the legal department that is a shared service across the group. This is a remote working role, save for the necessary attendance at Board and committee meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Company Secretary for all the c. 40 UK entities
  • Encompass Companies House filings
  • Maintain the statutory books
  • Minute board meetings
  • Provide governance support in corporate transactions
  • Support in KYC and bank account opening matters
  • Attend Board and committee meetings

Qualifications:

You will be an experienced corporate governance professional with demonstrable and sustained experience in company secretarial matters. Ideally, you will have completed CGI/ICSA qualification and have an excellent track record of maintaining statutory books, completing filings and taking Board meeting minutes. Listed company experience is not needed. You will have strong academics and the ability to come to London on odd occasions.
