Looking to work as part or an HR team that is intrinsic in ensuring the organisation aligns itself to key industry standards and remains one of the leaders in their industry?

As the first point of contact for all HR queries, the HR Administrator role is responsible for providing an efficient end-to-end recruitment and onboarding service and delivering day-to-day high quality, accurate and timely administrative support across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities include:

Pre-Employment Checks

  • Carry out pre-employment checks including DBS applications, ID documentation, safeguarding training, references and right-to-work checks, and prepare new employee files for sign-off.
  • Maintain regular contact with new starters
  • Liaise with line managers to inform them of their new starter's progress

Recruitment

  • Support the Recruitment Manager at busy times to provide a responsive and efficient end-to-end recruitment service ensuring that the safeguarding obligations are met and all recruitment protocols are adhered to.
  • Processing advertisements on the website and external recruitment sites.
  • Monitoring the recruitment inbox and responding to enquiries.
  • Communicating with candidates including interview arrangements, collecting pre-interview self-declaration paperwork and informing unsuccessful candidates of interview outcomes.
  • Assisting with administering assessment tasks where required.

Database Administration

  • Maintain and update employee information within the HR database, accurately adding starters, making amendments and administering the leaver process as needed, ensuring that data is clean and accurate.

Key Skills:

  • Experience of successfully managing demanding and competing deadlines.
  • Experience of navigating complex procedures on a daily basis.
  • Experience of working in a generalist HR position in a busy office environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative role in a busy office environment.
  • Good working knowledge of MS office applications; Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
  • Experience of working with databases.
  • Accurate, with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise and juggle a varied workload.
  • A good standard of spoken and written English, including a good command of spelling and grammar.
  • Flexible, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Pro-active and able to assimilate new information quickly.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Comfortable managing data.
