Job Title: Deployment Engineer

Location: Oakwood Building, Prestwich Hospital, Manchester M25 3BL

Trust: Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust

Job Type/Shift Patterns: Full-time, Monday to Friday, either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, totalling 37.5 working hours per week. (This is 100% Onsite role based at Prestwich Hospital in Manchester)

Pay Rate: £14.53/Hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot issues post equipment upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Install IT equipment such as laptops and desktops with precision and efficiency.
  • Follow standard operating processes to maintain consistency and compliance.
  • Log and update tickets promptly to track and resolve issues effectively.
  • Assist in assembling and adhering to replacement of computer/laptop hardware for efficient deployment.
  • Maintain good timekeeping to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Install software and peripherals like scanners and printers accurately.
  • Aid in checking-in deliveries and updating stock inventory as needed.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting issues post equipment upgrade.
  • Decommissioning equipment.
  • Logging/updating tickets in a timely fashion.
  • Experience in installing software and peripherals such as scanners and printers.
  • Assisting with checking-in deliveries.
  • Updating stock inventory.
  • Active Directory, rebuilding machines, and good understanding of how Intune and Antivirus management tools work.
  • Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10/11 and Remote-Control Tools.

This role may require you to show evidence Diploma or ECDL or at least 2 years relevant experience.
