Job Title: Deployment Engineer
Location: Oakwood Building, Prestwich Hospital, Manchester M25 3BL
Trust: Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust
Job Type/Shift Patterns: Full-time, Monday to Friday, either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, totalling 37.5 working hours per week. (This is 100% Onsite role based at Prestwich Hospital in Manchester)
Pay Rate: £14.53/Hr.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot issues post equipment upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Install IT equipment such as laptops and desktops with precision and efficiency.
- Follow standard operating processes to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Log and update tickets promptly to track and resolve issues effectively.
- Assist in assembling and adhering to replacement of computer/laptop hardware for efficient deployment.
- Maintain good timekeeping to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Install software and peripherals like scanners and printers accurately.
- Aid in checking-in deliveries and updating stock inventory as needed.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Troubleshooting issues post equipment upgrade.
- Decommissioning equipment.
- Logging/updating tickets in a timely fashion.
- Experience in installing software and peripherals such as scanners and printers.
- Assisting with checking-in deliveries.
- Updating stock inventory.
- Active Directory, rebuilding machines, and good understanding of how Intune and Antivirus management tools work.
- Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10/11 and Remote-Control Tools.
This role may require you to show evidence Diploma or ECDL or at least 2 years relevant experience.
