Fire & Security System Design Sales Manager / Business Development Manager who has industry experience working within the Fire and Security sector with the ability to prospect, prepare tenders, quotations and design Fire, Security and Fully Integrated Systems is required for a well-established company based in Epping Upland, Essex.
KEY REQUIREMENT: Candidates will need Fire & Security Systems industry Experience
SALARY: up to £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Uncapped Commission + Company Vehicle +Company Mobile, Laptop, Company Expense Credit Card and Pension
LOCATION: This role will be split between approximately 50% of the time in the office in Epping Upland, Essex and 50% of the time visiting prospects and clients
This role will predominantly involve travelling within the M25 and London

We have an exciting new job opportunity for an ambitious Fire & Security System Design Sales Manager / Business Development Manager who has industry experience working within the Fire and Security sector with the ability to prospect, prepare tenders, quotations and design Fire, Security and Fully Integrated Systems.
Working as the Fire & Security System Design Sales Manager / Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing new client relationships, which will be achieved by prospecting, arranging onsite meetings, following up on incoming leads and presenting to potential clients to build your pipeline and achieve annual sales in excess of £500,000.
The position requires high levels of self-motivation, a highly organised individual with exceptional communication skills and industry experience.
As the Fire & Security System Design Sales Manager / Business Development Manager you will have a proven track record of understanding client requirements, designing effective integrated fire and security systems, while maintaining and developing client relationships.
It's imperative you have Fire and Security Industry experience.
Working with clients across the construction industry as well as many of the main mid-sized M&E companies and a cross section of End Users, the company aim to provide their clients with the electronic Fire and/or Security system they require through detailed design and installation.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the Fire & Security System Design Sales Manager / Business Development Manager you will have the following skills and experience:
- You will need a proven and successful sales record in the Fire and Security Industry with a solid network of contacts
- The ability to prepare tenders and quotations by designing or interpreting specifications provided by M&E Consultants including Fire Alarms, PAVA Systems, Disabled Refuge Systems, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Door Entry
- Be technically sufficient to quote for takeover and upgrades of systems
- Have the ability to generate new enquiries from your own contacts, networking, prospecting to achieve their sales target as well as handling inbound enquiries and following up on leads
- Good presentation skills
- Appreciation of contract law and industry standards
- Be aware of the industry standards: NSI Gold, BS EN 50131 / BAFE Fire, BS5839/ and other Security System Standards Awareness.
