SEN Teacher

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teacher for an autism provision/base in a school located in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The provision is for autistic pupils who have been out of school for quite some time. The majority of these pupils are very bright and will need support whilst working towards their GCSEs. The chosen candidate will work alongside four other members of staff, including a SENCo, a Lead Teacher two and HLTAs. This base is newly built; all resources and equipment are brand new and of the highest quality. The role is permanent and the right candidate will join the team full-time.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with autistic children and young people.
  • QTS qualification or equivalent is an advantage but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for helping students succeed and overcome challenges.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse groups of students.
