About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team in Towcester. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education and support to students with special educational needs. You will work closely with other staff members and parents to ensure that each student receives the best possible education tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to students' progress and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Preferred).
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
