This role will see the successful candidate lead a team of likeminded Avionics Engineers to perform day-today aircraft maintenance activities under Part 145 control. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring the certification of all maintenance tasks whilst maintain adherence to safety, quality and regulatory standards with a focus on customer satisfaction.

The Role:
- Shift Pattern of 5, 5, 4, 5, 5, 4, working 0700 hours to 1900 hours
- Ensure the timely completion of all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance events for aircraft under Part 145 control
- Supervision of the avionics team and battery bay activities
- Represent the company in communications with aircraft owners and customer representatives to ensure satisfaction
- Lead and manage a team of avionics engineers for Base maintenance inputs / projects, performing appraisals and handling line management responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support to Engineering and Estimating teams, particularly in relation to SB and Modification assessments
- Ensure effective management of C5 approval and efficient operation of the Battery Bay
- Communicate daily progress reports and coordinate with hangar management on project status, manpower requirements, and critical path management
- Work with support services for spare parts procurement, repair and technical information; authorise repair requests and manage high-cost repairs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company and Health & Safety procedures. Oversee quality control of work cards for timely final release to service
- Maintain communication with customer representatives and respond to their requests during check inputs
- Seek and implement operational improvements to maximise productivity and reduce costs
The Person:
- Full unrestricted B2 License with electrical privileges
- Proven experience in a managerial position
- Experience in DOA / Part 21 (Desirable)
