Job Description
To supply the line with product to the correct specification and quantity.
Duties
- To adhere to food hygiene and H&S policies at all times, and raise any non-compliances of the operation
- To prepare and mix the correct number of mixes as per the production plan
- To prepare and mix dough to specification using the product specification sheet - ensure correct quantities of flour, yeast, water, and other ingredients
- To operate the mixing equipment to ensure water, yeast and flour are at the correct quantity and temperature for each mix and that mixing time is as per specification sheet
- To ensure ingredients such as ghee and sachets are added in line with the product specification
- To ensure dough is within specification when mixing is complete
- To ensure dusters are filled as appropriate all the way along the line
- To ensure a high standard of housekeeping
- To ensure that between each different product mix, the mixing bowl is clean and free from any possible contamination from a previous mix
- To fill in batch sheets accurately after each mix with specifications, tests results, weights, and mixing times etc
- To ensure mixing operation runs concurrently so that there is a continuous supply to the line
- To report any non-conformances in product/mix to the line technician
- Clean as you go
Required knowledge, skills or experience
- Previous experience within a factory environment, Reliable and punctual, Good communication skills (essential)
- Manual dexterity, Attention to detail
- Numeracy, Literacy

Rate of pay: £13.55 per hour
Hours of work:
- 4 on 4 off 6am-6pm
