An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to assist a Partner within their Occupiers Liability and Public Liabilitydepartment, at an award-winning law firm ranked among the top 10 in the UK. What you'll do:
- Prepare correspondence and documents through audio typing and word processing
- Administer filing including daily filing and managing client files
- Arrange appointments and manage fee earner diaries
- Provide support to other secretaries and the administration team as required
- Attend clients both in person and on the telephone providing excellent client care
- Undertake specific training when required and have a responsibility towards self-development
What you bring:
- Proven legal secretarial experience
- Excellent command of English spelling, punctuation and grammar
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
- Strong audio typing skills (65+ wpm is advantageous)
- Experience working in a Personal Injury law firm or civil litigation firm
- Professional and friendly telephone manner
Benefits:
- Salary: £27,000-£30,000 (dependent on experience)
- Hours: Standard hours are 8:30am-5:30pm (Mon-Thu) and 8:30am-5pm (Fri); flexible/reduced hours considered.
- Remote Work: 3/2 alternate remote working rota after probation.
- Holidays: 23 days, increasing to 26 days with service, plus bank holidays. Includes 3 holiday buybacks per year and an extra day for your birthday after 2 years.
