We have an amazing opportunity to join a creative and successful consumer brand. Working with their global factory base, you will play a key role in creating and delivering their innovative and market-leading gift products to their retail customers around the world.
We are looking for someone with a proactive and positive approach, who is organised, a great has a keen interest in consumer products and retail. You will be a great multitasker and adept at building strong relationships both with internal teams and their international factory base. This company offers lots of opportunity for growth and development - you'll be joining a supportive and fun team too.
Duties in this Supply Chain Coordinator position include:
- Working closely with their global factories, being in daily contact and building strong working relationships
- Managing the critical path for your products, ensuring production is in line with agreed dates
- Negotiating pricing, MOQs and led times with suppliers
- Ensuring all product specs are complete, signed off, and artwork approved ahead of submission to factories
- Work closely with internal teams including Product Development, Procurement and Sales
- Coordinating sample delivery and approval
- Maintaining internal systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information at all times
Skills and experience required:
- Experience within a Buying, Product Development , Merchandising, or Supply Chain function or similar position
- Some experience working with global factories, ideally with China / the Far East
- Some critical path management experience would be ideal
- Strong communication skills and a great relationship builder
- A proactive problem solver and an excellent multitasker, comfortable working with a high SKU count
- Good Excel skills
