Business Support Coordinator

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Support Coordinator to join our client's team in the construction industry. As the Business Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our client's operations including Buying and Procurement functions.

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 p/a

Location: Pontypridd

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, office hours

Holidays and Benefits: 26 days + BH, Performance based bonus, Training and progression - this role has the scope to grow as you develop, free on-site parking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support buying and procurement functions within the business.
  • Maintain and improve supplier network, including developing new supplier relationships.
  • Pricing and lead time negotiation, ensuring cost effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Forecasting of products and understanding needs,
  • Maintaining and keeping real-time record on systems
  • Provide purchasing administration support such as raising Purchase Orders
  • Liaising with on-site team members regarding product needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, records, and databases.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from both internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.
  • Assist with budgeting and cost tracking.
  • Administrative support across business managers

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, office coordinator, or similar role is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
