This role entails meticulous planning and coordination within the Supply Chain Department of a major industrial / manufacturing company. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be vital in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our Leeds location.

Description

As the Supply Chain Planner you will:

  • Support the creation of the master production schedule and material plan needed to meet the master production schedule or independent customer demand.
  • Use common processes tools, and information systems.
  • Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and action plans.
  • Execute the daily operational planning process within a specified functional area.
  • Identify potential supply chain failures as part of the planning process and mitigate associated risks.
  • Work closely with stakeholders - internal and/or external to develop short term tactical improvements.
  • Use the planning system to drive consistent planning signals across the supply chain
  • Participate in functional process improvement teams

Profile

A successful Supply Chain Planner should have:

  • Experience in a supply chain or procurement role, preferably within the industrial / manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Job Offer

  • Hourly rate £15ph
  • Long term contract with possible extension or permanent position
