Sales Operations Lead Contract-to-Perm

The talent acquisition team at NET Recruit are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic high-growth consultancy business to find them a knowledgeable Sales Operations Lead to join the team working in a remote capacity on a 'contract-to-permenant' basis. This business partner with other companies across various sectors to provide expert consultancy services on human resources, equality and diversity within the work place, with the aim of implementing positive change and driving businesses into a bright and fair future.

This is a brand new role created within the business, that has been defined to support the existing sales and marketing teams with meaningful processes and information to increase activity and success across the business. This is a fantastic and career defining opportunity for a professional to carve out a path for themselves and revolutionise this business' approach to their outgoing sales.

The business have said that this role will be offered on a 12-month contractual basis at first, and it is likely the position will be made perm in the long run once the fundamentals of the role have been established and the position holder well integrated into the team. There is also flexibility on the number of hours worked within this role too.

There will be occaisional London travel with this role, of potentially once or twice a month. All applicants must be able to meet this expectation.

Your Role and Responsibilities

While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Seeking ways to optimise both marketing and sales operations within the business by defining key points, implementing new processes and managing the end-to-end operations for the function
  • Managing the CRM database, ensuring that all information is updated and accurate and able to be used in various email campaigns
  • Providing team members training on the CRM database
  • Qualifying leads by conducting good research
  • Implementing an approach centred on lead engagement
  • Supporting the preparation of proposals
  • Undertaking extensive market and competitor analysis to support business goals
  • Overseeing lead generation via LinkedIn by managing the advertising and Sales Navigator and LinkedIn accounts to promote the generation and nurture of leads
  • Supporting in the planning of events for clientele which include live streams, webinars as well as various in person events to, with the aim of optimising the reach of the events and generating maximum sign ups
  • Performing sales and marketing analysis and providing reporting on progress, successes and key metrics in order to promote learning and continuous improvement

What you will need to Apply:

The business is seeking applicants in possession of at least 2 years of sales or marketing operations experience, specifically in a B2B environment, and with additional experience in process implementation and optimisation. Key knowledge for this role will need to include CRM database knowledge (the preferred package is Active Campaign, but any experience in CRM will be considered) and tis again should include implementations and setting up of complex sequences. Applicants must have expert level LinkedIn knowledge, specifically in key areas such as Lead Generation and advertising, as well as sound experience using Sales Navigator. Additional strong IT skills, particularly with Excel is a must, as well as good analytical abilities, and familiarity with Google Analytics, MS Teams and Zapier.

What you will get in Return:

For the successful candidate, the business is offering a starting salary of up to £40,000 which will of course be dependent on previous experience and relevant knowledge relating to the role. This will accompany a fantastic peripheral package including a strong base holiday offering, with additional bank holidays on top, entrance into the competitive company pension scheme and also a plethora of other monetary incentives, rewards and discounts.

This role can also be worked in a remote capacity, as well as either on a full time or part-time basis (30 hours).

As this is a brand new role to support the team, the scope of where this opportunity could lead in the future is virtually limitless. As previously mentioned, the role will be offered on a 12-month contractual basis at first, but does have the very strong potential to go perm, once the placeholder is established and integrated into the business. There will be excellent routes for progression and the support required on training and skill building, in order to support the position holder's development.
