Fantastic opportunity has arisen with a forward thinking Somerset based law firm for a Legal Finance Manager. This is a full-time, permanent role with the option for hybrid/flexible working and a competitive salary. The firm are looking for experienced and dynamic individuals, looking for a long-term role with the firm
Role involves:
- Oversea and manage the legal accounting team
- Prepare the monthly management accounts
- Monitor account reconciliation
- Prepare VAT returns
- Supervise production of payroll
- Take responsibility for balance sheet reporting
- Production of financial budgeting forecasts
- Oversea the bank accounts and prepare cash flow forecasts
- Deal with year end accounting
- Certify that statutory financial compliance requirements are met
- Ensure compliance with SRA legal accounting regulations and reporting
Required skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of legal accounting advantageous
- Prior experience in managing a team is desirable
- Relevant qualification in finance, accounting or a related field
